The GED to credential program–GED to MOS certificate is a 22-week innovative certificate at Lackawanna College offering students the ability to receive industry recognized credentials while working on the academic coursework of the GED for the cost of $6,000.
This certificate provides an opportunity for students to graduate with job readiness and Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) certifications to start a high-priority occupation.
Students simultaneously work on GED coursework and Microsoft Office certification which includes Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint.
Students receive training in employment readiness skills, such as resume and cover letter writing, job search assistance and interviewing skills. Students will also learn accounting principles and QuickBooks for office settings.
