Lackawanna College Hangs Banners to Thank Frontline Heroes

SCRANTON, Pa. – April 8, 2020 –Lackawanna College put up banners on Angeli Hall at 501 Vine Street and on the Mulberry Street side of the College’s building at 401 Adams Avenue to show appreciation and support for workers combating the coronavirus. Since the start of the pandemic, the College has donated Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to hospitals and medical centers and partnered with the United Way of Lackawanna and Wayne Counties to raise $3,000 for a COVID-19 Emergency Relief Fund.
