Fidelity Bank Continues Support of Environmental Institute

SCRANTON – Fidelity Bank recently presented a $6,000 Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) donation to Lackawanna College that will help fund the Lackawanna College Environmental Institute.

The EITC program of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania benefits area youth in grades Kindergarten through Twelve by providing corporations with tax credits for their funding of innovative educational programs. The Lackawanna College Environmental Institute provides environmental education programs, including workshops, camps and field trips for hundreds of students from Northeastern Pennsylvania.
