ECO 105 (Formerly EC 101) - Macroeconomics
This course is intended to introduce the student to the determinants of the level of income and employment in the economy. Macroeconomics, often referred to as general equilibrium analysis, is concerned with the problems of the economy as a whole rather than those of the individual or firm. As an introductory course, it is primarily concerned with developing the desire and aptitude for continuing inquiry into this area of knowledge (3 Credits).

ECO 110 (Formerly EC 102) - Microeconomics
Microeconomics studies the forces that affect individual productive units. It deals with the economic problems of the individuals, firms and the industry. The mechanisms of production, price, employment and distribution are investigated and applied to current domestic and international issues, with the emphasis on the gas industry. End of Course Outcome: Students describe the basic components of microeconomics and how changes in any component can impact the other components. (3 Credits).
