The Legacy and The Vision

Launched in September, 2006, The Legacy and The Vision capital campaign is a five-year, $10 million campaign to address the aggressive expansion of Lackawanna College’s downtown Scranton campus, along with other capital projects. Goals include continued renovations of the Student Union and Gymnasium, relocation of the Honesdale Center, restoration of Seeley Hall and the Healey Academic Center, and dormitory expansion.

To date, over $11.000, 000 has been raised, exceeding the goal. However, as Lackawanna College has swiftly relocated several of its administrative offices in order to accommodate the Commonwealth Medical College, additional projects have developed since the campaign’s kickoff. Development of our Environmental Institute and a multi-sport athletic complex remain on our list of capital improvements we aim to accomplish through The Legacy and The Vision.
